Friday Night Meet Up
This month, our usual dining out evening was replaced by a Friday night get-together for mocktails/cocktails and a bite to eat at the Split Bar and Restaurant. A visit to a Farm with a Church and Waterfall
We enjoyed a lovely visit to a farm in Ruatangata with amazing views of the surrounding countryside, a small, architecturally designed wooden church built in 2003 and a waterfall. After an easy walk we had a picnic on the garden lawn. Comments: ‘Our visit to the farm with the small wooden church, built by the present owner and a group of volunteers, was very special. We had an inspirational theme night at our October Wednesday evening meeting. Hiking up Mt. Kilimanjaro came to life.
