Vegan & Vegetarian Cooking

Ten WINGS ladies, under the guidance of Mina, spent a very enjoyable morning cooking a variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes. We learned the differences between the diets e.g. no animal products at all used by strict Vegans as well how to use pulses and nuts as valuable sources of protein and essential vitamins in meatless recipes. After a busy time in the kitchen, we sat down to a shared lunch sampling each other’s attempts – all of which were extremely tasty and nutritious.
As a meat-lover, I was so impressed by the wonderful flavours, textures and tastiness of the vegetarian cuisine in particular. (Name hidden)
It was yet another stimulating time getting to know each other better with lots of cooperation, conversation and laughter.
A huge thank you to Mina who shared, not only her expertise, but also her home with us. The money raised is being donated to a charity.
