Language Line
Interpreting service for health anyone visiting their GP (general practising medical doctor) in Whangarei can now ask their doctor to contact Language Line. Language Line is a telephone interpreting service which offers 39 languages to help people communicate.
The health profession is one area where clear communication is vital. So it is great to see Whangarei’s Manaia Health PHO become one of the most recent additions to the current list of 45 participating agencies. It only takes a couple of minutes to get an interpreter on the line and the process is straight forward. These interpreters are qualified, have a high degree of professionalism and are bound by a strict code of ethics which embrace accuracy, impartiality, confidentiality and professional integrity.
