The Northland Pasifika Fusion Festival brings together peoples of the Pacific to celebrate and share their food, arts, crafts, dance and music with the rest of the community.

It showcases the local Pacific Islands cultures, including Samoa, Cook Islands, Niue, Tuvalu, Tonga, Fiji, Hawaii, Tahiti, Kiribati as well as local Maori, the tangata whenua of Aotearoa.

A stage will feature a variety of live performances by the various island community groups, traditional and contemporary—and this will include our own dancing WINGS member, Leslie—and the various ethnic groups will display aspects of their culture in their village groups.

Come and enjoy a relaxing fun day and meet up at noon in front of the stage.
