WINGS is an organisation that was founded to help migrants, new to New Zealand, settle into life in this country. However, WINGS welcomes all women, whether from another country, another part of New Zealand or a New Zealand local, which includes those who simply just want to meet new people.

Belonging to WINGS is a wonderful way to meet people and to become part of the local community.

WINGS is not just for the women. We have family events and social gatherings, which include spouses, partners, children and friends.

WINGS has something to offer everyone: networking, sharing cultures, food and traditions, arts and crafts, walking, a book group, coffee groups, potluck dinners, support, or just enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and a good chat.

 

WINGS members come from around the world: America, Australia, Canada, China, Columbia, England, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Mauritius, New Zealand, Palestine, Philippines, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Zimbabwe…the list goes on!
