WINGS is an organisation set up to help new migrants to New Zealand settle into their new country.

WINGS welcomes all women whether you are from another town, country, a New Zealand local, or you simply just want to meet new people.

WINGS isn't just for women. We have family events and social gatherings which include children, spouses, partners and friends.

Everyone has something to offer one another whether it be networking, arts, crafts, walking, a good book, potluck dinners, sharing cultures & traditions, support, or just enjoying a cuppa and a good chat.

We have members from America, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, England, Finland, France, Germany, India, Iran, Ireland, Kenya, Mauritius, New Zealand, Philippines, Romania, Scotland, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Thailand, The Netherlands, Ukraine, and  Zimbabwe.

Women's International Newcomers Group Social meets on the first Wednesday of every month at the Whangarei Club, 18 Rust Ave, Whangarei, Northland, at 7pm, $3.00 door fee, Members free.

GARDENING:

David Muir form the Quarry Gardens and Nadine Whitton from Garden Discovery Tour will be our guest speakers. Bring a plant to swap for another plant. We would also like to introduce ourspecial guests from the Ngati Whau Wahine from the Whakapara Marae.

FOOD THEME:  A variety of different countries themes!

RAFFLE PRIZE:  to be announced at meeting.
 

WINGS BRIC & BRAC- We have a table of items for sale. Please donate any unwanted sellable  items to WINGS and we will sell it for our fundraising.  Thank you for your kind donations and support. Thank you to Margaret and Judith for running the table.

Membership Fees -Start again 1st April  2011 until March 2012
$25.00 entitles you to free entry to Wednesday night meetings, a name tag and discount off certain events.

Payment options: Visit the WINGS office  71 Bank St. (upstairs) Room 12 on Mondays between 10am - 3:00pm, mail to the WINGS Office,  or pay at the WINGS meeting.
